Even though some people claim that photos are a ranking factor for your business on local packs, there’s no proof for this (as is the case with most other ranking factors). However, adding photos to your Google My Business account has some other marked advantages. Photos tell your customers a lot about your business. A good photograph of the well-designed interiors of your business is bound to attract more customers to your establishment.
Google has always adopted the “search engines are for customers, not marketers or SEO-ers” motto, so going by this, it would seem natural that Google prefers GMB listing owners to update photos on their listings rather than not. Besides, Google having something called Google Trusted Photographers to take pictures of your establishment has to mean something.
With all this in mind, we highly recommend that you update photos on your Google My Business listing to have an optimized online presence which might actively contribute to improving your rankings on SERPs. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to add photos to your Google My Business profile to help you do just that.
Visit the Google My Business website and click on the the blue ‘SIGN IN’ button on the top right corner of the page.linkreplicawatches.com audemars piguet replica watches
You’ll be on the Home tab of your Google My Business profile by default. Navigate to the Photos tab by clicking on Photos on the left sidebar.
In the Photos pane, click on Manage Photos to start adding pictures to your Google My Business listing.
You will be able to see a number of categories in this section, inclusive of Interior, Exterior, etc. These options may vary based on the type of business that you own. Click on the blue + icon on the top right corner to add a photo to your Google My Business profile.
You’ll be greeted by a window similar to this one. You can drag and drop an image into this box from your computer, or click on the ‘Select photos from your computer’ icon to manually browse through your folders and choose an image.
Once you’re done uploading it, you’re good to go! The images that you’ve uploaded will start showing up on your Google listing, and your potential customers will be able to view it. Make sure you categorize it right, however, since users will be able to filter your business’ interior, exterior and other photos separately.
And, less time obsessing about your local presence
