Generating a steady stream of revenues as a mortgage company takes a lot of work. You must have solid processes and procedures in place and continue to bring in new clients year after year. One way in which you can generate new client leads is via online searches. Bing is a search engine that millions of people use daily.
To get noticed on Bing, you need to claim your company profile. And you probably have already done so. But did you know you can also claim profiles of the individual mortgage brokers who work for you? By claiming these profiles, you ensure that more online searches lead back to your company which means more potential business.
All you need is just a few minutes to claim your mortgage broker profiles on Bing. Follow the guide below to get started.
Start by searching for your mortgage brokers one at a time. Visit Bingplaces.com to begin your search. Click the New User button from the home page and start your search.
From there, you can choose to import the business profile from Google My Business or Claim/Add the business manually. You can speak with employees beforehand and ask if they have a Google My Business account. If they do, selecting the import option will speed up the process.
Choose Claim A Profile and select the business type in the first pull down box. Next, you will be asked to enter in additional information, including the Business or Professional name. This is where you are going to add the name of your mortgage brokers.
At this point, it is a good idea to add the company name, then title, then name of your employee. This way, the listing shows where the mortgage broker works as well as connects to their name. For example, a listing for John Doe working at Sunrise Financials would appear as Sunrise Financials—Mortgage Broker: John Doe.
Once the profile has been claimed, Bing then walks you through the process of completing the listing. This will include adding hours of operation, content information, social media accounts, website, etc.
Next, you need to verify the listing. This is done by entering in a PIN number that Bing sends you. The PIN will be supplied either by text message, a telephone call, e-mail or traditional mail. Bing uses only sources that ensure the account is being claimed by its rightful owner.
Repeat this step for every mortgage broker of your company to have full coverage on Bing. Be sure to manage the listings once they are live. Set reminders to go back and check to see that the listing is correct. You want to save the link so that changes can be made as needed such as adding new telephone numbers or emails.
Now that your listing is live, you can now count on Bing to provide you with more contact from potential clients. The listing is completely free and a solid tool to help you become more visible to consumers locally as well as around the world.
And, less time obsessing about your local presence
