Wix is popular amongst users largely because it makes website development extremely simple to use. All of the apps and programs available on Wix are created by Wix developers, so they are built to meet their stringent quality standards. It’s very easy to set up and start using a Wix website for your business, and on top of all these qualities, Wix websites function very well on the front-end.
Visit Wix’ website and click on the “Get started” button to start building your website.
On the login page, click the link that says “Sign up.” You can alternatively use your Facebook or Google account to create an account.
If you chose to click on the Sign Up button, you’ll need to enter your email address and password.
Choose how you want to build your website: create it using Wix’ ADI, or choose a template.
If you want Wix’ ADI (artificial design intelligence) to design your website for you, click on the button that says “Start Now”.
All you need to do is answer Wix’s questions about what your business does, what the purpose of you creating the website is, etc.
Once you’re done with this, Wix will automatically create a website that is most suited for your business. You can make changes to the website if you want to after it is created.
If you want to create your website from a template by yourself, then click the button that says “Choose a Template”.
You can then pick one that you feel like from the list of templates or narrow down your options according to the purpose of your website. You can also filter to only get new templates or the most popular ones here.
After you’ve found one that catches your eye, hover your mouse over it and click on the “Edit” button to enter the Wix Editor.
The video that plays once you enter the Wix Editor will tell you all you need to know about designing your website using the app.
In the Wix Editor, all the options to make changes to website are condensed in the sidebar on the left. Once you make changes to the website, you will see your edits take place live.
Once your website is ready to go live, select the Preview button on the top menu and if you’re happy with how it looks, click the blue “Publish” button.
And, less time obsessing about your local presence
