Having your business listed on Google Business Profile (GBP) is imperative for local visibility. It ensures that when potential customers search for your business or related services, they can find accurate details, such as your business address, operating hours, and most importantly, your contact number. If your phone number isn’t listed or is incorrect, you risk losing customers to competitors who make it easier to get in touch.

Go to Google Business Profile and click the ‘SIGN IN’ button at the top right corner of the page.
Once logged in, you’ll be directed to the Home tab of your GBP dashboard. This is where you manage all aspects of your listing.
From the left-hand menu, click on ‘Info’ to access your business details.
Scroll down until you find the phone icon.
Click the grey pencil icon next to the phone number section. This will open a pop-up where you can enter a new phone number or modify the existing one.
After entering your phone number, click the ‘APPLY’ button to save your changes.
Once you submit changes, a red ‘Pending’ status may appear next to your phone number. Google typically reviews updates within a few hours to three days, but it often happens much faster.
